Thermography & UV Detection
KELVIN 275
The Kelvin 275 is a gimbal containing a dual field of view, cooled radiometric thermal imaging camera. This means that longer stand-off distances can be obtained between the aircraft and the target under study. It also contains a daylight camera. The Kelvin 275 is an ideal instrument for aerial powerline inspections, detecting forest and other fires, and for environmental and wildlife studies.
KELVIN 350 and CORONA 350
The Kelvin 350 and Corona 350 are gyro-stabilized gimbals containing up to four different cameras: an Ultraviolet camera for corona detection, a thermal imaging camera for detecting hotspots and thermal signatures, a visual daylight camera and a high resolution digital frame camera. The Kelvin 350 and Corona 350 systems offer utility companies a complete solution for the inspection and maintenance of transmission lines, distribution and substations. The thermal imaging camera and UV technologies are complementary and are an ideal combination for setting up a well established predictive maintenance program.
