About Polytech
FLIR Systems Polytech AB designs and manufactures gyrostabilised gimbals for a wide variety of airborne applications. Polytech is a part of FLIR Goverment Systems Division within the FLIR group.

Since 1990, Polytech AB has been focused on airborne systems for Government, Law Enforcement, Scientific applications and product product development.



FLIR Systems Polytech AB is an aeronautical certified company holding two approvals:
1) EASA Part-21 Subpart G Production Organization:
- approval to build and certify aircraft parts
- part can be certificated with an EASA Form One
2) EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organization:
- approval to be an aeronautical repair station,
- part remains airworthy after any repair.
All Polytech’s products are designed,built and certified to conformance with EASA standards (equivalent to FAA JAR 23).
Polytech core activities include:
- In house design capabilities with core competencies in stabilization, servo mechanisms, electro-optic and infrared sensor integration and fine mechanics
- In house production, assembly, test and verification
- EASA certification and qualification in place
- After Sales Service; training and installation support, spares and logistics, on-site support
